Thanks for the information, and taking the detour to drop the finial off today.
I am absolutely delighted with it, and can't wait to install once the weather improves.
I've given it a  couple of coats of diluted smoked walnut (grey) woodstain, to blend in nicely with the greyish roof shingles on the summer house.
I'll send over a few snaps for your website once in situ.

The package arrived just in the nick of time on Tuesday afternoon. The keyrings are beautifully made and presented. I attached a moss green ribbon and gifted them to my cousins in memory of my grandfather. They were admired so much several other family members would like to order one. Please could I order another 4 oak keyrings.

The consignment has arrived this afternoon, and to say we are thrilled to bits would be an understatement!! Thank you so much. My husband was absolutely delighted with the keyrings also. I wanted them to be a little thank you gift for all the work he has put into renovating the summerhouse and I know they will be greatly treasured, especially as a memento of these very surreal days [Covid-19 crisis] when he has at last had the time off work to do it .  Regarding the finial, well I think he knows what is on his activity list for the next few days!!  I will send you a photo of it when it is finally stained and in situ, but that may be a little while yet! Your craftsmanship is really wonderful, and (based on prices we have seen for apparently very simple items such as plates etc  at local craft fairs), seems phenomenally good value and quality.We will have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to friends and neighbours.

I want to compliment you on what an amazing job you have done; I was blown away with how beautiful the piece is, and the amount of care and craftsmanship you put into your work is absolutely apparent. My post lady just delivered the cup. It is beautiful and I shall be very proud to have this presented in memory of my husband at the Cycling Club Breckland Annual Dinner and Prizegiving. Terry won the award last year. He had been a forester (with the Forestry Commission) all his working life; all things wood, and cycling, were his passions. He would have been so chuffed with the cup!
