Description of work
Although this looks like an egg, it fits the woodturning description of a "box" because it is hollow, and has a base and a lid. This one is made out of spalted beech, and is about 3 inches wide by 5 inches tall.
As with most of my boxes, the "lid" (the top of the egg) is a push fit on the base. The egg cup is separate, simply a device to hold the egg for display.
