Burr elm clock

Description

Burrs occur when an unnatural growth of twiggy matter sprouts from a branch or trunk. When turned this reveals itself as a multitude of pips. Often the timber is cracked and pitted as well. All this makes for highly decorative wood. This clock is sold. If you request one based on this design, the burr and the shape will be different - at least the top part will, being the natural, un-worked wood. If requesting a clock like this, please make it clear whether you would like the natural bark leaving on the top of the clock.

The clock insert is a quartz clock, and takes an AAA battery. The dial is five inch gold face roman numerals. Alternative dials and sizes could be available.
