Yarn bowls
Yarn bowls or knitting bowls are designed to hold a ball of wool, with a thread fed through the hole for knitting in progress. The one on the left is made in ash, the other two are in spalted beech. Any design can be used with any wood, timber blank availability permitting. Guide price depends on size and style of yarn feeding hole.
These bowls are normally finished with three coats of wax - Tripoli, white diamond and finally a high sheen carnauba wax.
