Description of work
We started this line of production by making Christmas trees to go with our snowmen, but they have proved popular all year round, particularly if they are on a stem and not in a bucket. We have used many different kinds of wood, and many different styles are possible. Larger trees seem to be popular - maybe 8 or more inches tall. We usually finish them with three coats of wax - Tripoli, white diamond and carnauba, creating a high sheen durable coating. A more matt finish is possible if preferred, using oil, which often deepens the intensity of the colours in the wood.
