Wizard Wands

Description of work

Wands for the wizard or witch, , though they do not have dragon's heartstring or phoenix feather at their core. In my case these were made for my young magical-story-mad granddaughters.

The wands are turned from oak, with the top one handle carved and burnt, and the bottom one with carved vine leaves. .

The pieces are both finished with cellulose sealer and then three coats of wax - Tripoli, white diamond and finally carnauba wax, providing a high sheen and hard wearing finish.
