Scientists of the Year Trophy

Description of work

This is a science trophy made for a group of primary schools in London. All the pieces are turned - the curved stand was turned as a hoop, then cut at just over half way to create the C-shaped scope holder.

Alternative science trophies do exist - see below. A second version of the microscope made from burr oak is shown below.

The price within the range suggested will depend on the amount of pyrography required (particularly if an intricate coat of arms or badge is required) . The lowest price would allow for the trophy plus a basic inscription on the front. Engraving plates could be fixed around the base, although I do not do engraving myself.
