Fence post finials and caps

Description

These acorn post toppers are made from oak, and are screw in to 3 inch tanalised timber, all stained green. They are about two feet long, and were used as markers on the corners of a potager - useful for allowing a change in direction of the dog-tooth paviour border - see the picture below. The posts are standard garden timber and are probably best bought in 8 foot lengths from a builders yard or garden centre. They could be scaled up to 4 inch square for fence posts.

The price will depend on size, type of wood chosen, any finish to be applied, whether dowel screws are required, and whether a flat cap (as shown in the picture above) is required. Certainly the last is to be recommended to keep out the water from the post.
