Custom made door knobs

Description

These door knobs were custom made for Richard in Southport, who wanted fourteen matching doorknobs for his newly stripped and renovated doors throughout his house. Some were required to fit as a pair with handles on either side, though they were not required to operate a mortise lock. They could be made to fit a square shaft for turning a mortise lock. See below. Others were to fit on only one side of a door, so were supplied with just a single bolt as above.

 

The door knobs are made from solid Brazilian mahogany to a traditional design. A screw thread insert has been fitted, into which any length screw can be fixed, for attaching the knob to the door.
