Cake stands

Cake stands are very practical objects. For everyday use they are probably best low with quite a wide base for stability. For display they can be higher with more narrow stems. A cloche can provide protection for the cake, and this can be glass or plastic. It is possible to inscribe stands using pyrography, to commemorate a special occasion or advertise a business.
