Description of work

I have done a number of backscratchers over the years. I try to make them out of one piece of wood, which can be awkward as the hand needs carving last: sometimes, having done all the turning and finishing, the carving goes wrong - a finger breaking off under the pressure of the chisel is the usual problem!

This one is currently available. I will be making more.
