Description of work
A 9" disc turned from oak forms the base for this carved picture and lettering on a house sign. The writing and picture are carved into the wood, and the robin is painted in three colours. The whole piece has been coated with three coats of Osmo oil finish, to protect against the elements.
Obviously any lettering is possible, and any picture, though a simple icon-style picture will work best on this kind of sign.
