Shed sign

Description of work

This was made in response to a request for a reversible sign - no doubt some family dispute as to the purpose of the garden shed, as one side says Ann's Potting Shed, and the other side Greg's Man Shed. I didn't enquire too deeply into the politics of the situation, just made the sign.

The sign was made from a rectangular piece of beech, cut to an oval and turned to give it a profile through its depth. The words were then pyrographed in to the wood. Finally it was given a number of coats of outdoor finishing oil for protection.
