These three trophies are all made to give to annual winners of three subject or school prizes: from left to right, geography (the Hanson prize), the House Cup, and the English prize. The first has a walnut base, with a spalted beech globe on top. The school badge is added on an inset disc - necessary to provide a flat surface fro the enamel badge. The house cup is walnut, with a piece of sycamore inset to take the writing, being lighter than walnut. The English prize is walnut, and is a lectern with a book on it, carved from rippled ash. The winner's name is written on the "book".
All trophies are finished with three coats of wax - tripoli wax, followed by white diamond, then carnauba wax buffed to a high polish.
Other versions of English, Geography and House trophies are available.
