Figurine plinth

Description of work

One of our more unusual requests - Rob asked for a plinth to mount his small, highly detailed figurine on. We provided one in walnut, three inches in diameter and just under that in height. The figurine hovers above the base on a matching turned walnut dowel - sort of a stake through the heart?

I think he is a die cast resin model called Dimitr von Goray , by Russian sculptor Kiril Kanaev.

A few months later Rob asked for another similar plinth, this time for a small figurine of Quint from the Jaws film. Pictured below.
