Oliver Hudson Memorial Trophy

Description of work

This commemorative plaque was actually a conversion of a clock design. All oak, with a convex plate in the centre (where a clock would go), pyrographed with a picture of Oliver. Oliver died in 2011, from a brain tumour. A delightful student, he treasured so many things about his school life, history being one of his particular passions. Hence this trophy is given to a young history student in his memory. The base is carved to match the trophy profile. The plaque is quite thick, about an inch and a half.

Below are two other plaque for Oliver - one for the commemorative shelter erected in his name, and the other a plaque for a tree planted in his name.
