Child's personalised stool

Description

This small child's stool is a piece made to order for Thomas James, whose name and date of birth are pyrographed around the rim of the seat, and the design chosen by his grandparents is pyrographed on the seat - though this is not shown here for potential copyright reasons.

The whole stool is in ash, providing a clean, creamy white background for the pyrography. The piece is finished with three coats of wax - Tripoli wax, then white diamond, then carnauba wax, buffed to a hard shiny finish.

The point within the price range suggested for this kind of stool would be dictated by the amount of writing and the level of detail in the pyrography on the top. With this picture and writing shown here £100 is about right. A stool without the picture would be around £70, but then it wouldn't be as much fun, would it?
