Child's personalised stool

Description

This small child's stool is a piece made to order for a friend's son - Alexander George. His name and date of birth are pyrographed around the rim of the seat, and the design chosen by his grandparents is pyrographed on the seat - though it is not shown here for potential copyright reasons.

The legs are turned in ash, the seat from sycamore - providing a clean, close grain for the pyrography. The piece is finished with three coats of wax - Tripoli, then White Diamond, then carnauba wax, buffed to a hard shiny finish.
