Trophies - acorns

I have no standard designs for trophies, though any new commission could be based on those below.

All trophies are designed for purpose. Hence it is difficult to give prices for any particular trophy. A suggested guide price range for the trophies shown here is £35 - £50, dependent on whether any lettering is required, what type of wood, and size - particularly diameter. I can add lettering using pyrography - burning the inscription into the wood. Examples are the Recognition Award and Student Award below.

Acorn trophies appear to be popular for a variety of reasons - for example, as symbols of growth and promise, regeneration, or connections with forestry.

Most acorns below are made from spalted beech rather than oak, mainly because of the appeal of the patterning. Oak could be used if preferred (and if available in the size required). Typical size is around 4 inch diameter, 9 inches high.
