Also known as Mandarin Rose, it bears delicate single blood-red flowers with pronounced anthers The part of the stamen where pollen is produced , followed by flagon-shaped, waxy-red hips. A native of China, it is a vigorous spreading shrub growing 2 - 4m. It is a parent to many cultivars.

Native to Britain and most of Europe, the rowan or mountain ash is a small deciduous, monoecious male and female reproductive parts are on the same plant tree growing to 5-15m, often with multiple trunks. Steeped in folk lore, it protects from evil spirits and drives out witches.
Salix babylonica ?
Weeping willow
No label on these, so I am guessing Salix babylonica. There are other species names for weeping willow, and many cultivars of S. babylonica. Native to China, a deciduous tree which grows rapidly but is relatively short lived (40-75 years). It is dioecious having male and female reproductive parts on separate plants , with male and female yellow catkins produced separately on different trees.

Also known as bald cypress (due to it dropping its needles), a large slow growing tree, native to SE USA. It is a monoecious male and female reproductive parts are on the same plant , deciduous conifer. It is long lived, the oldest reported to be 2700 years old, and can grow to 50m with a girth of 14m.

Also called the Chusan palm, native to subtropical and temperate mountain forests of China, Japan, Myanmar and India where it typically grows to 12-20m. One of the hardiest of the palms, cultivated for its coarse but strong leaf sheath fibre, used for making rope, sacks, and other coarse cloth where strength is important.

Native to parts of Japan this shrub has very showy, rounded clusters of long-lasting, creamy white flowers in early summer. These flower clusters of Viburnum plicatum 'Grandiflorum' can be up to 8 - 10 cm in diameter on an established plant! Of course we missed the flowers!
